The 6th International Conference on Frontiers Technologies of Information and Computer (ICFTIC 2024) ended successfully!
The 6th International Conference on Frontiers Technologies of Information and Computer (ICFTIC 2024) was successfully convened on December 13-15th. Our conference has been sponsored by the China University of Petroleum (East China), Shandong Association of Artificial Intelligence, and Shandong Computer Federation, and organized by Qingdao Institute of Software, College of Computer Science and Technology, China University of Petroleum (East China), Shandong Provincial Key Laboratory of Intelligent Oil and Gas Industry Software, Qingdao Software Industry Education-Industry Alliance, AEIC-Academic Exchange Information Center, and co-organized by University of Malaya, and supported by IEEE SMC and CCF Qingdao Branch.
The conference centered around the theme of “Frontier Technologies of Information and Computer”, aiming to highlight the scientific research achievements and frontiers technologies in the field of computer science, while also providing a platform for academic discussions on emerging trends and developments. More than 100 academic elites, including a number of IEEE Fellows, national talents, and well-known scholars at home and abroad, were gathered together to share scientific research achievements and cutting-edge technologies. A total of thirteen well-known experts were invited to give plenary reports and special invited reports. Fourteen scholars gave oral presentations and eighteen posters were displayed.
On the morning of December 14, 2024, Professor Shanchen Pang, Dean of the Qingdao Institute of Software, College of Computer Science and Technology, China University of Petroleum (East China), and Professor Haibin Zhu from Nipissing University addressed the conference respectively, extending a warm welcome to the leaders, experts and scholars attending the conference and wishing the conference a successful convening.

They discussed current hot topics, shared research achievements, promoted the development and progress of related research and applications, and boosted discipline advancement and talent cultivation.

Five scholars explored the academic dynamics and development trends in Intelligent Industrial Software, as well as related research fields, creating a warm atmosphere.
At the Workshop on Big Data, Neural Networks, and Deep Learning, invited report were delivered respectively by Prof. Por Lip Yee of University of Malaya, Assoc. Prof. Ata Jahangir Moshayedi of Jiangxi University of Science and Technology, Prof. Zhenghao Shi of Xi'an University of Technology. Multiple participants both online and offline shared and discussed the latest research achievements and development trends in related fields.

At the same time, scholars from many universities and research institutes gave oral reports online or offline to show their research and results in the field of computer and information, and to share problems and solutions encountered in practice.
During the banquet, Professor Wu Chunlei, Deputy Dean of the School of Computer Science and Technology of China University of Petroleum (East China), gave a concluding remark on the conference. The conference received a total of more than 300 manuscripts from China, the United States, the Philippines, Thailand, Iran and other countries. The experts and scholars came from Beijing University of Posts and Telecommunications, Fudan University, University of Science and Technology of China, Harbin Institute of Technology, Sun Yat-sen University, Hong Kong Polytechnic University, City University of Macau and many other universities at home and abroad.
